Child and Youth Services

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) provides mental health services to children, teenagers, and their families to help them reach their full potential. The services are offered at schools and community-based mental health centers. DMH also provides emergency services to children and youth who endanger themselves or others. Other services include special educational services for children and adolescents, and therapy for expectant parents, children ages 0 to 5, and their parents or guardians. To obtain mental health services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, call the DMH Access HelpLine at 1 (888) 793-4357 or 1 (888) 7WE-HELP.
